Dry Hire.

If you would prefer to source all food and drink externally for the entire day, then our dry hire option may be better for your requirements.

We warmly embrace all cultures, religions and beliefs at Worton Hall and a dry hire option particularly suits cultural weddings where specific cuisines or particular drink choices (such as no alcohol) are required.

Unlike our corkage option for traditional hire, the dry hire fee permits you to bring an unlimited quantity of drinks for the entire function with no corkage fee. Please note that if alcohol is being served, then service must be controlled through a licensed supplier. Use of our bar is not permitted so pop-up bars or drink service stations must be arranged with your suppliers.

Dry hire of the venue means that we provide you with the venue and the furniture required and it is up to you and your suppliers to set up, pack down and run the day.

Dry hire includes:

• Exclusive use of Worton Hall for the required event timings (between 10am - midnight) as well as some time to set up the Friday before. (12 - 5pm).

• Round tables and chiavari chairs to seat your required numbers.

• Trestle tables as required for gift table, buffet stations, etc

• External caterer’s fee

• Venue staff member within the venue in case of emergencies.

• 9mx3m staging and dance floor if required

• Fairy light olive trees and hurricane vases with church candles around the edge of the room

• 3ft round table cake table if required

• Easel for seating plan if required

• Wooden display/sweet cart

• PA system for background music

• Use of microphones

• VAT

If you chose to go with a dry hire of the venue, you could have up to 300 guests.

*please note the Hayloft Gallery cannot exceed a capacity of over 120 guests at one time due to fire regulations.

If you wished to seat over 180 guests, both levels of the venue (Main Hall and Hayloft Gallery) would have to be used in order to do so.

If you would like to hold your ceremony with us, a £500 ceremony fee would be required.
